Microsoft Excel

Assalamualiakum....

Hai!! I have learned one of Microsoft Office in this course which is Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel is a software that allows user to create tables, to calculate and to analyse data. This type of software is called spreadsheet.

The terminology in Microsoft Excel


Active cell is a selected cell in which data is entered when user begin typing. Only one cell is active at a time.

Formula bar is  a bar at the top of the Excel window that user use to enter or edit values or formulas in cells or charts.

Name box is a box at the left end of the formula bar that identifies the selected cell, chart item or drawing object.

Sheet or page is called a worksheet. When user open a new Excel file, it automatically starts user with three worksheet but user can add more


For this topic, Mr. Azzamudin was called students randomly, asked them to come in front and followed his instruction. He taught us how to insert the chart and how to use the formula. This topic is one of the easiest in this subject. Overall, I understand what have been taught about.
